Flying Pets Cargo

Share this post :

In a year, an average of 26 pets die and 22 are severely injured flying cargo. Flying puppies cargo is extremely dangerous because they are even more fragile and prone to conditions like dehydration. The limit a puppy can fly in-cabin is 20 pounds or less, and they have to be able to fit in a soft sided carrier. For larger breeds, it’s not so easy to get your best friend home. They have to fly cargo, and cargo can be the most inhumane. It’s cold, loud, turbulent, and I’ve heard of stories where animals have injured themselves trying to get out. They are locked in a crate with the same food, water, and bedding until someone comes to pick them up. There are cases where food packs are left unopened, or the crates they are in were dropped. This should never be an option you consider.
