About Our Founder

Delivering Love & Happiness

My name is Ashley and I have to admit, I have an obsession with dogs! I grew up in the city of Las Vegas and always knew that I wanted to work with animals. I come from an extensive background working in the animal care field and have been doing so for the last 6 years; I also have 4 years of experience delivering puppies via commercial airlines and private charter flights.

My previous jobs included working as a Kennel Technician/Dog Groomer for dog hotels to becoming a Vet Assistant/Vet Technician for three major clinics in the Southwest area of Vegas. I’ve done anything and everything that involves dogs and cats, before finding my real passion; the love of taking flight. I am now a Flight Attendant for a mainline carrier and owner of Love At First Flight. Our top priority is the safe delivery of your pets!

I had a dream to become one of the safest methods of delivery for dogs and cats. I loved the thought of traveling with puppies. I started looking and introducing myself to big companies, but the doors were closed. I was overqualified, what was going on? I believed I could accomplish it and I’d even get butterflies thinking about it. I started jotting down notes every day, doing research, and living off that ambition! I’m proud to say that after a long wait of hard work/dedication, and most importantly the passion that never let me give up, we made it happen! “Delivering love and happiness across the 50 States” is our mantra.

Throughout the years and the many experiences, I’ve started this fun chapter of my life. I’ve delivered Very Important Puppies for Very Important People. We provide Domestic and International flights upon request and only fly on confirmed flights. We also strive and advocate for a sanitary and easygoing journey. Our passengers will travel with a brand-new carrier that will stay with him/her from start to finish. Love At First Flight is a family-owned business. Together, my husband and future Pilot to be work long and hard to find the best prices on travel.

As a “Puppy Flight Attendant” we can’t fly without our Pilots and Co-Pilots! We have three fur babies, Orson the Morkie, Charlie the Yorkie, and Pearl the Shih Tzu. On my off days, I enjoy working with rescues here in Nevada, helping rescue dogs/cats and providing foster care when needed.
